"Over the years we have continued to use Closet Experts to organize other areas of my home, including our garage.  Now as my four daughters are moving into their own places, we continue to work with Closet Experts. "

How much do your organizers cost?
Individual closets can vary in price from $200 to $8,000.  To offer a guideline, a basic 8-foot-long reach-in closet starts around $550 installed.  A 6-foot-wide by 8-foot-deep walk-in begins around $1,200 installed.  Price variables include: size of closet, design, color, options and accessories. You will be best served by informing us of your budget before we begin so we give you the best possible value within budget or less.

How much time does the initial appointment take?
A standard reach-in closet can take a half hour to measure, inventory, and design.   A complete house can take one to two hours just to measure, inventory, and to learn all your wants and needs.  After gathering this information, we decide with you whether to design then, or to set another appointment to present any design created, either in your home or in our showroom.

Where can I see your products?
Your designer carries a portfolio of our work that shows a range of applications, designs, material, options, and accessories to give some idea of looks and possibilities. We have a showroom in our offices for you to see the quality of material and installation. Because we are a small company, providing personal service to our customers, we are not always in the office.  You are welcome to make an appointment to inspect our showroom.  By not spending large sums of money for mall space, we are able to keep our overhead low and maintain our competitive pricing.

What is the difference between a wall-hung system and a floor-based system?
A wall hung system uses as little as half the board material of our full floor-based system.  A wall-hung system allows limited adjustability, due to fixed shelves at mid height and no mounting holes in lower areas.  A wall-hung system loads all the combined weight of your belongings and the organizer material on as few as 4 studs on an 8-foot-long wall. A wall-hung system leaves the floor open for clutter and dirt to collect, hindering cleaning.  A wall-hung system allows limited changeability with no lower mounting holes to add shelves, drawers, or baskets.

Do you only do closets?
No. We do much more than that.  We can organize any space in your home or office. Besides closet organizers, our product line includes home offices, entertainment centers, garages, utility areas, laundry rooms, pantries, and mudrooms.  We also design lockers, kids’ rooms, and shelving units for attic or basement. Ask us about any space or need, and we’ll see if we can help.

Can I buy just the components from you and install it myself?
No.  We design, fabricate, install, and warranty our systems.  Installing yourself might initially save 10 to 15 per cent, if you can find comparable material quality (our materials are not available at any home center or IKEA).  The only value in doing it yourself is if you enjoy carpentry work, are meticulous in your installation, and have the time to do it.  We often hear that it takes 2 – 3 days for some people to install a closet we complete in less than 2 hours.  Do-it-yourself work often looks less professional, and will cost you at resale.  It is not as easy as it looks on television.

How long does it take?
The complete process can take as little as a few days to 3-4 weeks depending on the scope of the project.  Visit the process tab in the menu for further explanation.

Closet Experts has a lot to offer in home organization.  Our intentions are to earn your business, and to ensure your satisfaction today, tomorrow, and in the future.  We thank you for the opportunity to quote you and letting us help you achieve your organizational goals.
